Some questions and answers about your stay with us and Lombok in general
What is included in the surf camp package?
Our weekly surf camp package includes 7 nights accommodation, daily surf coaching, surf guiding to the best waves in South Lombok, daily breakfast, welcome and leaving dinner, video/photo analysis, gym membership and full use of all camp facilities including the pool, sauna, ice bath, lounge areas and pool table.
When do surf camps run?
Our surf camps run weekly from Sunday to Sunday. This allows guests to fully immerse themselves in the surf experience while progressing throughout the week with the same group and coaches.
What surf level do I need to join?
We welcome beginner, intermediate and advanced surfers. Our coaches tailor each session to your level and take you to surf spots that suit your ability.
What surf spots will we visit?
South Lombok offers a wide range of waves including Are Guling, Tanjung Aan, Gerupuk, Selong Belanak, Ekas, Mawi and Seger. We choose the surf spot each day based on conditions and guest ability.
Do you provide surfboards?
Yes. We have a selection of beginner and intermediate surfboards available for use during lessons. Experienced surfers are welcome to bring their own boards.
How many people are in each surf group?
We keep groups small to ensure personalised coaching and plenty of waves for everyone.
Is the surf camp suitable for beginners?
Yes. Beginners are very welcome. Our instructors will guide you step-by-step from your first wave through to confidently riding green waves.
What are the rooms like?
Our surf camp features 9 private rooms, each with a queen bed, desk, strong wifi, air conditioning, and hot showers with filtered water designed for comfort and relaxation after long days in the ocean.
What facilities does the surf camp have?
The camp includes a 12 metre swimming pool, sauna, ice bath, pool table, lounge areas and dining space, creating the perfect environment to relax, recover and connect with other surfers.
How do we get to the surf spots?
We organise daily transport to the best surf breaks in South Lombok depending on conditions. Some spots are beach breaks while others may require a short boat ride.
Is airport transfer available?
Yes. We can arrange airport transfers from Lombok International Airport directly to the surf camp.
What is the best time of year to surf in Lombok?
South Lombok offers surf year round.
Dry season (May – September): clean swell and offshore winds
Wet season (October – April): fewer crowds and fun waves in sheltered bays
What should I bring?
We recommend bringing:
Swimwear and surf gear
Sunscreen(we provide aswell)
Reusable water bottle
A sense of adventure
How many guests stay at the camp?
With only 9 rooms, the camp stays intimate and relaxed, giving guests space to unwind while still enjoying a social surf camp atmosphere.
What are check-in/check-out times?
Check-In and Check-Out
Check-in: 2:00 PM
Check-out: 11:00 PM
We offer complimentary bag storage if guest arrive early or depart late.
Do all the guests surf at the same surf spots together or will we be separated by level?
You will always be surfing waves suitable for your skill level and surfing goals, which will be upto the coaches. Somedays you might be with another group and somedays not.
There will never be more than 2 students per surf coach in the water.
The times that we surf during the day depend on the tides, conditions, and level of our guests. We set up our surf schedule the day before to get the most accurate forecast.
Is scooter rental included?
No, scooter rental is not included in the price. But we can help you rent one while you’re here!
